‘A Game’ is the 4th single by French pop noir songwriter Lian Ray, from his album ‘Rose’ released on the 13th of March.
After the disappearance of his muse Rose, Lian found himself heartbroken. While trying to process and grieve his loss, that aching pain quickly turned to anger. Single ‘A Game’ showcases Lian at his darkest: bitter, revengeful.
Here he finds himself plotting destructive ways to get his muse back ("what will it cost / to bring you safely back to the shore?") while echoing some of the album’s recurring masochistic nuances ("Can I play with you / Can I hurt you too?").
