Donna Blue is back with new single ‘Dark Roses’. It’s a somewhat dark and western inspired duet, which tells the story of a lifelong search for lost love, a topic often found in old folk songs. Following a Nancy & Lee-esque song structure, its lyrics symbolize the fruitless search for perfection. A lonesome stranger carrying a flowery dream, forever pining after his golden mirage.
